Backup WordPress the easy way with NiftyBackups

NiftyBackups is a free WordPress backup plugin which doesn’t only backup WordPress for you, but has a list of features that it comes bundled with.

Some of the features included in the free version: restore backups quickly and easily, runs quietly in the background, backup integrity and more!

Lets backup WordPress

1. Install NiftyBackups and activate it. Simply go to your WordPress dashboard > plugins > add new > Search for ‘NiftyBackups’ and hit ‘install’

2. Once activated you will have an option in your dashboard called ‘Backups’, click on this link to open NiftyBackups dashboard

3. Simply click ‘Backup Now’, this process will give you pre-backup information such as site size and number of tables inside your database. (Navigating away from the process will not interrupt your backup)

4. Depending on the size of your WordPress website, the backup may take longer than smaller sites. Once the backup is completed it will backup your database and site files separately where you are able to view the backup log, download the backup, send to cloud, restore backups or delete the snapshots. Great thing is you are able to independantly restore your site’s database or just site files.

As you can see by the screenshot above, you are able to see your backups, change the restore settings, schedule backups to automatically backup, exclude certain tables in your database and so forth. Some of these features require the Pro version, however this backup plugin’s free version is great and is great for any site. The pro version is great for those users that want peace-of-mind with automatically backing up to your own cloud service such as Google Drive and soon to be Dropbox!

So backup WordPress today with NiftyBackups!

Buy the pro version for $19.99
